Relative Clauses - Worksheet

(3)
Relative Clause worksheet based on a Bloom’s Taxonomy stepped-approach to teaching grammar. Starts by giving a description of what the grammatical target looks like, before working through increasingly complex levels of difficulty to support children internalising and using the grammar skill independently. Children will remember, apply and analyse the grammar being used correctly and incorrectly before attempting to write their own. Designed to allow children to write these into their books, rather than on them. Supports greater depth writers by allowing them to write multiple versions of some of the more complex sentences.

Map Progression Geography Primary

Our map progression document for geography is a clear and visual way of ensuring visual progression for mapwork across the curriculum. With this document, teachers can clearly see the expectation when completing maps of locations and places around the world. The first page of this document shows a visual representation of maps around the world. The second page of the document is a bullet-pointed, written version of the document. This resources is great for subject leaders of geography, and would be great if used alongside our geography skills progression document, which can be found at: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12953540

Geography Quiz Cards
mr_akay1984mr_akay1984

Geography Quiz Cards

(0)
These geography quiz cards are a great resource for children to test each other on their geography subject knowledge throughout the primary National Curriculum. They cover all of the geography primary curriculum, as well as asking questions about multiple different countries in the world, such as: India Australia France Brazil Mexico United States of America Italy Spain Russia Of course, school’s geography curriculums are usually very personalised, and as a result, there’s a significant change that a country or location in your curriculum hasn’t been included. That’s why this is a free resource rather than a paid one. There is a little bit of work to do when you’ve printed these: including cutting, folding, and laminating for longevity. Any questions, please email us at we.can.school.resources@gmail.com - we are always happy to receive feedback and recommendations as to how we can improve our resources for you. Generic Learning Research Template
mr_akay1984mr_akay1984

Generic Learning Research Template

(0)
A generic template for children to use in KS2 classrooms when conducting their own non-fiction research- whether about significant people, places or significant events. This double-sided document has the new curriculum in mind, asking children what they already know about a topic of their choosing, before generating their own questions and answering them. Again, with the Education Inspection Framework in mind, children are asked to consider the connections they have made to things they have learned previously, before considering if there is any further research they will need to conduct. This resource is useful for non-fiction research lessons, or in classrooms with a non-fiction provision area.

Features of a Genre - Generic Story Writing Planning Template

Features of a Genre - Generic Story Writing Planning Template

(0)
A (hopefully) useful resource for identifying features of a genre in UKS2. The generic nature of the sheet means that it can be used across any genre of writing and teaches children the skills they need in order to write a specific genre of their own choosing. Resource focuses on audience and purpose of a genre, language and vocabulary, characters and motivations, settings, and structure - as well as additional space to add in own notes. It can be used as part of classroom teaching to support English planning and story writing, or as part of a provision-based learning environment, alongside story books organised by genre, for children to access independently and write their own genre-specific stories.

Creative Writing A5 Prompt Cards
mr_akay1984mr_akay1984

Creative Writing A5 Prompt Cards

(0)
A5 prompt cards with creative writing scenarios for children to complete the story in multiple ways. Supports greater depth writing - especially if children are able to write multiple endings to the same scenario. Scenarios can be finished in any way children interpret, so there are endless possibilities for how to complete these and no one way is correct. Cards are in black and white like many of my resources to save on coloured ink and to avoid over-stimulation through colour-overload.

Vocab & Spelling Word List Comprehension Y5&6 SAMPLE

(0)
All 100 words from the Year 5 and 6 spelling word list put into contextualised sentences. Children can then use the sentences to work out the meaning of each word. This can be used as part of a larger activity or as a quick oral and mental starter at the beginning of each lesson. Regular use of this will teach children how to infer the meaning of a word by using the contextualised sentences behind them. Please note: this is the sample version of 100 words.
