I have numbered the tasks to eventually collate them into a full booklet. I will be uploading the tasks and info in subjects (see above). Once I have created and uploaded them all I will create a bundle as well. I will also be creating a checklist so that as each sheet is completed, they can be ticked off.
Feel free to contact me with any questions and feedback!
I will be continually adding similar resources as I produce them.
**I have uploaded these as PDFs due to the large file sizes and to avoid any of the elements moving on the designs. If you require an editable copy, please email me nataliesheldon86@outlook.com **
This is a resource I have created for my current setting: I work in an alternative provision for excluded young people. Some of the young people struggle with changes to their routine and like to see visually what they are going to be doing during the day
This resource would work for KS3-4
This can be laminated and reused, or a new copy used each time.
The resource has relevant things for my setting, but this can easily be modified to link to individual settings - let me know if you need help with this
I will be uploading a range of interventions / emotional literacy resources over the upcoming weeks
Feel free to message me with any questions

I created this resource for the delivery of the NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Art & Design (Unit 02).
The activity is very interactive, encouraging the learners to cut out the various examples of the formal elements within art and graphic design and then match them up in the boxes with the names & definitions.
There is also the answer sheet included, and this can be used as a display or laminated for reference in lessons.
I have used this resource with young offenders and it proved highly successful. It can also be used as a recap to check learner understanding.

They are designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching.

This is a booklet that I have created for the boys I work with in the Young Offenders Institute.
It is designed to be self-directed, but can also be used as part of classroom teaching.
This is perfect for learners studying at KS3 or 4.
The focus of the booklet is creative typography. It provides learners with tasks, information and stretch and challenge activities.
It would work well as cover work, extended homework, or even during lessons as an introduction to typography.
Feel free to contact me with any questions and feedback!

A set of worksheets relating to different graphic designers
Each one encourages the learner to consider the designer and the reasons behind the given example, with reference made to the visual elements of design
Work well with the NCFE Creative qualifications, but would also work as a homework task for mainstream KS3 / KS4 Art & Design based subjects
A very simple cover lesson I designed for KS3 classes to set as cover in D&T.
The theme of the lesson is logo designs and this self-explanatory sheet works well for non-specialist teachers.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

This Lives Matter programme is designed for use with children and young people who are at risk of/have been caught carrying or using a knife.
It can be used by staff in Youth Offending Teams (Youth Justice Serivce) for young people on court orders or prevention programmes, and by youth workers, Early Help and other social care officers, teachers and school staff and staff in secure settings.
This programme is designed as a series of sessions with varying themes relating to knife crime and surrounding issues. You can select those which apply to the needs and circumstances of individual young people.
All of the sessions can be adapted for use in one to one or group settings, as applicable. There is a Young Person’s Work Booklet that fits alongside the PowerPoint and this session overview
This resource contains:
Full PowerPoint (PDF version)
Work booklet for Young People
Session overview / learning objectives booklet
Print outs
On successful completion of this programme, young people will have met the following overall learning objectives:
• To develop an understanding of offensive weapons
• To develop an understanding of relevant legislation relating to offensive weapons and bladed articles
• To discuss and explain reasons why people choose to carry knives and offensive weapons
• To define different types of violent offences
• To understand different sentences relating to violent offences
• To identify the direct and indirect victims relating to (knife) crime
• To demonstrate an understanding of the ABC model, and consequential thinking
• To develop knowledge of real-life case studies relating to knife crime
• To identify areas in personal life that are positive, and areas that require improvement
Would work well for PSHCE lessons as well.
Please contact me if you require PowerPoint versions - I have uploaded as PDFs to prevent any design issues when opened on Windows PCs (resources were created on a MacBook)
A series of worksheets designed to encourage higher order thinking in the classroom
I currently use these with young offenders, however they would work just as well in a mainstream classroom
I designed them with a creative subject area in mind (given that I deliver Graphic Design), however they could work in other subjects as a creative and cross-curricular starter!
A series of key words / terminology displayed in categories relating to Art & Design, Photography and Graphic Design
Taken from the AQA GCSE website
Perfect blown up on display - can be copied onto coloured paper for effect, or even placed in sketchbooks as a daily reference
