This is a lesson planned for GCSE about the passage of a mid latitude depression. It was planned using knowledge of the new CCEA specification and is based around a potential exam question.
There is no powerpoint. There is, however, a booklet for students to complete that could be easily adapted into a powerpoint.

Geographical Enquiry: The effects of flooding are greater in Mozambique (LIC) compared to Northern Ireland (HIC)
Lesson Objectives:
• Define key terms ‘flood’ and ‘natural hazards’
• Categorise the impacts and compare these to media reports
