This is a double sided help sheet for GCSE students with sentence starters, useful essay writing terminology and a list of ambitious vocabulary for creative writing. They can be printed double sided and laminated for students to keep on hand in lessons.
This resource is aimed at mixed ability and there is a different version on my page for high ability/A Level.
The PowerPoint and attached documents are a series of worksheets covering the basics of plot, character and theme as students work through the reading of the play. All questions on the worksheets are differentiated for lower ability students and have prompts to help them complete tasks independently.
There is a sheet for Mr Birling’s opening speech, each character’s story and the final speech by the Inspector. The sheets can be printed for students directly from the PowerPoint.

A four week scheme of work made of five lessons a week desgined for Edexcel English Langauge and general English Language skills. For a mix of abilities and split into weekly topics of Titanic, space exploration, fiction and the Underground Railroad.
Attached is also the extract booklet used to support lessons.
