I have trained as a teacher in South Africa and taught there for 19 years in the employ of one school as a Science and Biology/Computer Science specialist teacher for the Department of Education and Culture – KZN. During these years I was also as a Chief Examiner in Biology and Computer Science for 15 years until 2002. This position was extensive in the use of my expertise of subject specialism for drafting specifications for the subject areas and ensuring that it met with the required standards of the examination board; consequently being accepted by the qualifications authority. Arrived in the UK to start my first post as Middle Manager in Jan03 and since have been to 4 different schools to up my skills in different environments.
