worksheet on organic synthesis for aliphatic compounds

(1)
Organic chemists need to find the most efficient way to synthesise more complicated compounds from simple starting materials. For this they rely on sound knowledge of functional group interconversions. Given a target molecule, a suitable route can often be devised in a stepwise manner by working backwards from the product, as well as forwards from the starting materials. write the reagents for reactions. Teacher feedback form for marking rates of reaction topic. It has been checked and approved by OFSTED to be a clear tool to show progress. So if you want to make your marking easier. Get the students to complete the WWW and EBI by using your choose colour pen green or purple if self or peer assessed. Get students to circle 3 WWW and 3 EBI. The students than complete their response. Alternatively you can circle www in their test if marked by teacher. Print the sheet on same colour as your school choosen colour student marking so it stand out in their books.
