This is a wonderful book to study in Year 6 as it supports children with their English and understanding of History and WWII. The genres covered in English are linked to the Y6 National Curriculum and writing framework with a strong SPaG focus as starters for each lesson. The children will write: a discussion text a persuasive letter a persuasive text and a picture perfect (creative writing in genre of their choice) This scheme consists of 27 lessons (all planned) and all resources, documents and slides required to deliver it. Every lesson resource is saved in both Word (editable) and PDF formats for ease of use and all slides are in both Notebook and PDF.
