My philosophy of teaching is to generate interest in studies, focusing of 21st C Skills: Creativity, Critical thinking, Collaboration and Communication. By so, I aim to develop lifelong learners who will enjoy the course and achieve their full potential. I create interest in studies by connecting concepts to life centred round the student as much as possible. For instance many concepts of physics can be linked to a student’s bicycle or a bike – kinematics, dynamics, friction, torque, momentum, collision, suspension, mirror, thermodynamics, gas laws, energy, electricity, circuits, elasticity, sound and so on. A student of mine came up with an excellent idea to investigate projectile motion using a water hose that he used to wash his bike! So thinking physics in life around them is a big motivation to learn and apply their knowledge.
