The powerpoint goes through: The background including research. The key research in APPFC format with implications of the research. Applications of the area. There are also various exam questions after every topic including part a, b and c’s. This would make both a great teaching resource as well as a good revision resource for students. It is worth noting, that topic 2 of child is hot, meaning it is likely that it will appear on the 2024 paper.

This resource is suitable for A-level psychology, specifically the OCR specification. It contains 6 powerpoints: Loftus and Palmer Grant Moray Simons and Chabris Contemporary studies Linking to key theme and cognitive area The first 4 powerpoints go through the aims, method, procedure, findings, conclusions and evaluation points of the study. There are 8 evaluation slides going through the method, data, validity, reliability, etc. The last slide also contains 10 questions to test your knowledge. The other 2 powerpoints are for specific questions. E.g. How does the contemporary study change our understanding of the key theme, how does the study link to the cognitive area, etc. Each powerpoint is from 10-30 slides.
