Looking at and interpreting evidence (guess the teacher from artefacts shown in the pictures on the notebook - fairly non-personalised so you could use as yourself to save time or adapt the notebook) KWL activity to discover pupil interests and base knowledge Jigsaw vases with follow up looking at the pictures to find out a bit about Ancient Greece from artefacts. This series of lesson plans was taken by a Lead Inspector for OFSTED/National Leader of Education and Executive Head for his own schools and training. He said they were exemplary examples of high expectations, carefully planned and differentiated lessons which engaged pupils fully. Happy Sundays :) Part of a full series on Ancient Greeks available either separately or as a full pack. I have been teaching over twenty years and have been an adviser and leader of teaching and learning in a school. I have been consistently judged as outstanding. I h ope that the resources save you time and energy and engage your pupils. I have tried all the lessons myself and used them in my own recent teaching. Objectives support English skills and cross curricula skills. Matched to the New Curriculum.

Transition game - end of year - autism - moving on up - secondary school - changing schools

A game for transition for a child who may struggle with change e.g. suitable for pupils with learning difficulties, social and emotional difficulties or Autistic characteristics. I have used this game from Y1 up to Y6 but it works best with Y2 up as the pupils can read the cards for themselves. You can "man up" the cards for Y6 with your school logo with the pictures are or other designs made by the pupils themselves. I used to work as an advisory support teacher, have been a SENCO and am now a learning support teacher overseas in a highly regarded international school. I have recent teaching outstanding experience from the UK so have lots of experience over 25 years in education. Over these many years and jobs I have spent ages developing resources and training. I hope you find this game useful for individuals or groups in your class. Please look at my other resources. When I shared them freely I had over half a million downloads in total. Now I'm coming up to retiring and working overseas, I'm trying to supplement my salary by selling the resources. All pictures are from FreePic Teach2012

ASD Autism Awareness set - feelings emotional literacy many resources social stories training pack

Thank you - I was a behaviour support teacher and regularly worked with pupils who needed to be able to name, describe and manage feelings. See my other resources too. Thank you for buying. Includes a transition game which was good for ASD kids too. You just need to draw some marks on a large white board or white board table for the counters or develop your own individualised game board. There is a base board but you might want to individualise it.. Also includes leaflets for training or for pupils adapted for each audience. There is group work for Autism awareness for aged 5-14 which could be adapted up or down too. Lots of stuff I have used successfully over the years
