KS4 Factorising Trinomials (Quadratics with a Coefficient of x sqd) Lesson

(1)
A sequence of lessons on Factorising Trinomials (Quadratics with a co-efficient of x sqd) designed for a high ability KS3 or KS4 group. Prior knowledge of Factorising Quadratics is required - a lesson on this can be found here: https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/ks3-ks4-factorising-quadratics-whole-lesson-with-homework-11772896 The structure of factorisation is clearly shown and starter activities are used to highlight key topics covered over the previous weeks. Lots of questions are given on the board so pupils work independently and share ideas with class during a group discussion. Please use and let me know what you think. I do not claim to own all of the resources published here - some are questions that have been adapted by other TES users (please contact me if you would like credit / removing).

I found it useful in Tutor Time to start a discuss around the General Election and it can also be used as an introduction to Venn Diagrams (real life context).
