Aimed as an introduction to decimals for higher ability Year 4 maths groups. Looking at place value of numbers with decimals, warm ups, plenaries and some self evaluation questions to answer at the end. Includes some reasoning, true or false questions along with problem solving.

This could be for a top set year 4 class, year 5 or the start of Year 6 in term 1 to recap their previous learning. I have pinched the questions off a recent resource (cannot remember from where) but I have added them all onto separate PowerPoint slides followed by my own answers and explanations. All are relevant to the current curriculum. The answers are all revealed slowly to allow time for discussions. I will be using these for lesson starters or plenaries and they are aimed at all levels within the classroom. Would love to hear what you think and how the children got on.
