The words are chosen to extend understanding, diversify writing and give depth of comprehension to reading. The booklet is suitable for Year 5-Year 11. Knowing and using a fraction of these words, will benefit pupils, especially during assessment time.

A one page rhyming poem to encourage children to make better vocabulary choices. You could delete some of the synonym alternatives and pupils could use a thesaurus to find their own.
