Financial and Non Financial Motivation Methods Worksheets and PowerPoint
Worksheet and PowerPoints for Financial and Non Financial Motivation Methods for Business
I have uploaded 3 PPs because I think some of them have past paper exam Q to practice.
Please go through and select which PP would be suitable for your class.
Worth 2/3 lessons.

RO64 Enterprise and Marketing MCQ Question Bank
3 sets of MCQ questions based on the R064 exam.
Can be given as a plenary or starter to the lesson.
I love setting these as starters and going through the answers together.
Can also be set as homework.

Extension Strategies in Business
Based on LO3- Extension Strategies for the Product Life Cycle but can be used for any other spec discussing extension strategies.
Also has some past paper questions (Cambridge Nationals).
Worksheet can be used as an interactive lesson/worksheet/homework

Economic/Business Cycle
Based on the R064 Cambridge Nationals but can be used with other GCSE specs.
Can print off slide 5 (economic cycle diagram) to stick in students book and then the worksheet can be filled in by students in class or even as homework
A good indepedent lesson where students can research before sharing with class.

Influences on job design- Hackman and Oldham's Model- AQA A-Level
A really simple introduction to job design and Hackman and Oldham’s Model
There is a slide that can be printed on A3 for students to research and fill
Final slide is also a table for students to fill to understand Hackman and Oldham’s Model (Can also be homework)
A good one hour lesson that is quite simple and straightforward

3.1.1 Understanding the Nature and Purpose of Business- Aims and Objectives/Profit
This is ideal for learning about aims, objectives and an introduction to profit, costs and revenue.
AQA AS-Level 3.1.1 related
I would recommend doing a couple of profit related questions to further understanding.

3.1.2 Understanding different business forms- AQA AS Level
To differentiate, you could semi fill in some of the ownership type worksheets and add extension questions.
Simply fill in the ownership worksheets via research
There is also a keyword sheet. Take the definitions out and they can fill this in for homework.
There is also a research task sheet where you can get students to pair up, create resources to deliver to the rest of the class. Print the task sheet, cut up and give to each pair/group.

3.2.1 Understanding management, leadership and decision making
There is fun starter task where students can find out what type of leadership they are.

Business Ownership
This set should last you 4-5 hours of lesson time.
Worksheets are really easy to differentiate. You can add or takeaway boxes or pre-fill some of them. Maybe add an advantage and disadvantage for weaker pupils.
These worksheets are brilliant and can be suitable for all levels and I love teaching this topic.
For Franchise and Social Enterprise there are alternative tasks as the worksheets become very repetitive but still great and they are all differentiated tasks.
Sole-Trader
Partnership
Private (LTD)
Public (PLC)
Franchise
Social Enterprise
I appreciate your thoughts and feedback and would be happy to make changes/improvements.

LO4 R064 Enterprise and Marketing
Lessons up to LO4.5
Full lessons including printable worksheets.
Plenty of hours to get through where you can interact with students and also provide individual worksheets that can be set in class or as homework.

3.2.2 Understanding management decision making
Includes decisions trees and worksheets for it with the answers too.
Some of the tasks involves students doing their own research.

LO1 of R064 Enterprise and Marketing.
A full set on LO1 which also includes the worksheets, end of unit test and homework.
Follows the specification.
Wrosheets can be printed out or students can type up the answers if in a computer based classroom.
Covers approximately 7 lessons.

3.1.3 Understanding that businesses operate within an external environment
Worksheet can be differentiated by filling in a couple of factors.
Starter can be cut up and give one card to each student to answer

3.6.1 Setting human resource objectives AQA A-Level Business
This presentation comes with a worksheet which I would recommend you print on A3 double sided with the mind maps.
Students are then required to research and fill in the worksheet and create 2 mind maps for internal and external influences on HR objectives. Good for lesson 1
Lesson 2 starter is quite fun and they simply need to think of words for each letter of the alphabet that links to business
The second task for lesson 2 is a review of soft/hard HR and students get in to pairs to debate which is better and then get students on their feet to have a bit of a group discussion and conclude which they prefer. A good way to practice AO3 and AO4
We then go over internal and external influences
*The spec outlines focus on ethical and environmental so I have created group tasks where they can discuss some statements I have made up. A good 10 minute plenary

Business Planning
This is a lesson on:
What is a business plan?
Why businesses plan?
Who may wish to see a plan?
Activities included
Main activity is where the students go through an interactive lesson where they plan for a prom…Sudden changes will occur which makes them go back and make changes. This can lead to discussions based on how this might impact real businesses. You have to change the slides and each slide has a given time. Pretty fun as an end of week lesson. (Print worksheet off on A3)
