I hold a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a strong academic background in Mathematics, achieving A* at both GCSE and A-Level, as well as an A in AS-Level Maths. As a tutor, my aim is to support and strengthen students’ understanding of what they are already learning in school, rather than replacing classroom lessons. I focus on revisiting tricky topics, breaking concepts down clearly, and building confidence step by step. Although I am new to formal tutoring, I have always enjoyed helping others to succeed, I regularly taught and supported my friends in GCSE and A-Level Maths, and many of them went on to achieve higher grades than expected. I am also a Welsh speaker, which can be particularly helpful for students studying with the WJEC/CBAC exam board. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs, with the goal of helping them not only improve their grades but also feel more confident in their Maths ability.
