(1)
Pupil work booklet for the WJEC Entry Pathways ICT unit: Improving Productivity using ICT. (6380/L1) Refer to the specification and amplification of content. This work booklet covers each objective, but teachers using this resource need to ensure that pupil responses meet the criteria before submission. http://www.wjec.co.uk/qualifications/qualification-resources.html?subject=ICT&level=EntryPathways Full work booklet covering each of the assessment criteria in the unit. (Referenced on the bottom right hand corner of each page.) Teachers may like to tweak or adapt the local guidelines section on page 5 so it is in keeping with their own school rules. Pupils will complete a piece of work alongside this unit. for example, a poster for an upcoming event provides enough scope to complete the unit. Teachers who work in cross curricular settings can use this alongside a piece of work for another subject. The piece of work chosen should have a specified audience and have enough scope to show a range of skills in order to be able to demonstrate understanding and meet each assessment criteria. This work booklet has been developed to be open ended enough to suit any task that the teacher may have in mind. In addition to completing the work booklet the pupils should produce three drafts of work in "Completing the Task" stage: First draft: Initial, basic draft. Pupils should annotate what they like and dislike, what they are going to change, keep the same etc. Second draft: Should incorporate all the changes made from the annotations on the first draft. Should be annotated with comments from the "intended audience" on what they like/dislike. Final draft: Should take into account the comments made by the intended audience on the second draft and be edited to reflect these comments. Please rate if you find this resource useful. First submission on here so would welcome feedback.
