"This Or That" is a fantastic ice breaker game to use with your class. Standing in the middle of the room, students have to decide which of the two items on the screen they prefer (for example oranges or apples) and then make a dash for the side of the room to gather with their like minded friends. PowerPoint Game includes a dramatic 5,4,3,2,1 GO countdown, background music, pictures and words and instructions for some other useful variations incorporating more speech and even more suspense (with more moves etc). Critical Thinking Game: Detective Dan and The Musicians of Abbey Road is based on the same idea as "The Einstein Intelligence Quiz". Gather information from clues and compile the information into the answer grid to show (in this particular mystery) 5 musicians names, what instruments they play, what pets they own, what nationality they are and what their hobbies are. This activity stretches the brain to take into consideration many factors, some clues being a little cryptic...It takes some thinking to work it all out. Included with the PPT activity is the printable PDF worksheet for the students to compile their information and write their answers on to. Dog Breeds and Facts Power-Point Game is a super fun and interesting game designed to test students knowledge about dogs. Can your students identify different dog breeds? (includes photo's). Do they know what is special and different about some breeds such as a Basenji or a Chow? Can they guess how many teeth there are in a dogs mouth or what colour Dalmatians are when they are born? Questions are all multi choice and upon answering with correct answers, students will then get to participate in a race to get their dog home for dinner. Students choose one each of the 5 dogs, the goal being to answer (from the 30 questions) correctly and advance their teams dog towards home AND yummy dinner. Halloween Words Game- Halloween Hang-time is a PowerPoint Game that plays in the style of Hang-man (but a passive version). This is a SAMPLE ONLY download of the game. The FULL version is available for download. Students choose a letter to try and guess the Halloween word. If the letter is correct, a Halloween visitor will appear on screen along with the letter in the word. If the letter guessed is wrong... smash a pumpkin (5 pumpkins to be smashed before answer has to be revealed). The Halloween characters in this game are known as The Spooks. It's as easy as adding each of your student's names on to the slides and hitting "s" to start and stop the random flow of their names. Perfect for so many things such as quizzes, allocation of things(such as seats) and giving prizes.
