An engaging and effective game enabling children to add and subtract fractions with a purpose. Includes a game board, mice game pieces, differentiated question and word problem cards and all answers. Use to structure a maths lesson on fractions for KS2 children. Differentiated through output, children can move onto the extensions when they are ready. 3 styles of questions are included to ensure mastery in this skill. Children will become confident at adding fractions, subtracting fractions and solving fraction word problems. Adding Fractions cards: A mixture of calculations involving fractions with the same denominator. Subtracting Fractions cards: A mixture of calculations involving fractions with the same denominator. Lucky Dip cards: Mixture of word problems, ordering and comparing fractions, equivalent fractions and converting decimals to fractions questions. Challenge 5 extensions are included to challenge the children once they are confident with playing the game. Including the children writing their own cards on the blank cards supplied. This game has a fun cat and mouse theme. All you need is one dice. The children can also choose and cut out one of 6 mice to be their game piece. Raise awareness and understanding of mental health issues with this cover for a class worry box. Encourage your pupils to share their small problems so that they don’t develop into larger issues. Print out the cover images and stick on a cardboard box. Provide a welcome space for children to share their worries and concerns so they feel heard, valued and understood. Give every child the opportunity to have their voice heard in your class. Useful for Mental Health Awareness Weeks within primary schools. This can also be kept throughout the year to safeguard the children. Develop your pupil’s emotional wellbeing, language for discussing their emotions and provide them with coping strategies. 3 children in an average classroom are facing mental health problems and 75% of mental health issues arise before the age of 18. So we need to do all that we can to provide children with the tools to cope with these challenges and an understanding to support those around them as they grow. A matching activity teaching the vocabulary from the poem 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. Includes a teaching PowerPoint with 18 slides, 24 word and picture cards, 2 extension activities and all the answers. Clear, colourful pictures and a large school-friendly font so the children can become confident with the old fashioned language. Simply print the word cards and picture cards and hand out. The children can cut them out, as they are already jumbled up. Answer sheets are included as well. Each page has 4 words and 4 images, so one group could work on them together.
