Opens with a fill in the missing words task followed by another brief list of famous British car companies and who owns them now, compared with the few that are still British owned. Companion piece to previous presentation. This one is all about the different ways a business can motivate it's staff without paying them any money. It features: -Opening slide of a famous motivational quote from Muhammad Ali. What does Ali mean ? - Explanation of job rotation, enlargement, and enrichment with examples. - What motivates these people ? 6 photos of famous people and I ask class what motivates them towards achievement and success but students are not allowed to answer "money" . Try and apply to lesson topics - Mazlow hierarchy of needs. I give class a blank diagram of the theory and they fill it in as I teach each layer - Can you name these famous leaders ? I then use this to introduce leadership styles. I have an accompanying worksheet to read through to accompany this which I will load up. Suitable for all GCSE Business Studies and all exam boards.
