A Level Chemistry: Nomenclature and Isomerism
Since the introduction of the new AQA A Level Chemistry Specification, I have been working on producing a set of ‘lesson sheets’ for each section of the specification. These are designed to be used as A3 booklets and contain information and activities, which structure a lesson.
The students and staff in my department have responded really well to them, and they can be used both to structure a lesson and for revision purposes. There are a range of challenge/support activities. Although specific for AQA, the content is applicable across exam boards.

A simple animation of the process of extracting aluminium from aluminium oxide using electrolysis. Can easily be copied into a powerpoint or similar and used to structure explanation.
