I designed this highly interactive lesson while teaching English as a Second Language in a Korean High School. The idea is to get all students comfortable practicing speaking in English and ordering food. We used whiteboards to draw the food as part of the role play. Learning objectives: -Learn new food vocabulary -Practice ordering food -Practice counting in dollars -Understand different cultures -Match flags with countries

This was always one of my favourite lessons to teach! I designed this one-of-a-kind, highly interactive lesson while teaching English as a Second Language in a Korean High School. The idea is to get all students comfortable practicing speaking in English and asking for directions. There is an overview of key transit-related vocabulary and opportunities for students to role play asking for directions. Features: -facts about metro systems around the world -fun quizzes for students to self-test throughout -guess the metro game -creative writing picture prompts -key transit vocabulary -key capital city vocabulary
