It also explores what the possible special events could be. This is for the exam theme Section A. I have previously made and used these booklets for the last 4 years worth of exams. They have all proven to be extremely useful and have definitely raised the standard in work that pupils produce when answering the exam theme from section A.

Then an example answer to follow. Good for lesson starters or to test a topic. Just a great all round revision aid.

This is the class 4x4 design aid for this years 2018 Resistant Materials exam Section A: Organising remote controls in the home. It works when using with a whole class or group pf students. How to use: Pupils should be on tables of 4 where possible (mixed ability). Each pupils draws a design in a 3/5 minute time period. They then swap with another pupil on the table until their original folder is returned to them. They then have 10-15 minutes to develop an idea. This again can be swapped with someone else. Very good resource for sketching ideas to timings and for pupils to get inspiration from others.

This is a 4x4 class design aid used to help pupils design ideas and also gather ideas for the possible question sin section A of the 2018 Graphics Exam. Students start designing their own idea. After 4/5 minutes they swap booklets This should happen 4 times around to different students in the class. they then continue through the booklet. A good resource to help develop students thinking and ideas.

This is an A4 work sheet that can stuck into books/folders. There is a list of key words down the left side including ACCESS FM. There are four columns sting: Have I seen or heard that word? Do I know what it means? Can I explain what it means? Can I use that word?
