This is a 5 page workbook with a series of comprehension questions. It examines the the beginings of the wars such as Henry VI’s (the mad king) weakness as a ruler, through to the defeat of Richard III in 1483. I have divided it into sections to aid with the knowledge retention and also used images from the White Queen to give it a sort of modern day take. She is best known for her vigorous attempt to reverse the English Reformation, which had begun during the reign of her father, Henry VIII. Mary had over 280 religious dissenters burned at the stake in the Marian persecutions. We study this as part of the Tudors - Does she deserve to be called Bloody Mary or was this just a fabrication to vilify the Catholic faith? This documentary is an excellent starting point and the question sheet allows for various discussion points throughout.
