I have been teaching Science and Post-16 Biology and Applied Science for 11 years. In 2017/18 I'll be teaching across the curriculum on the new(ish) 2016 specification H&SC Cambridge Technicals Level 3. Having no resources 'in the bank' I turned to TES to see what was about in terms of lesson delivery, revision and assessment. Answer: not much! So, I decided to create those resources, primarily to lessen the load on me next term, but to also try and help out others in the same boat. Enjoy!

This is the first lesson of the Cambridge Technicals Health and Social Care Level 3 Unit 4 Anatomy and physiology for health and social care. It links directly to LO1 of the Unit Specification. It is designed to have the information sheets printed and spread around the room to encourage independent learning supported with a peer assessment activity. An extension involves applying there learning to a clinical setting and justifying decisions they make. The plenary is a keyword bingo.

Written by me to assess the learning of LO2.1-6 of the Unit 4 Health and Social Care Cambridge Technicals 2016 specification. The questions are based on the limited bank of exam questions available at present as all the official assessment materials are going to be used as assessments within school. A mark scheme is provided. The front sheet has space for students to RAG their own responses and then self assess their knowledge as a means of formative exam preparation/assessment.
