Hi my name is Becky. I am a Business Studies and ICT teacher. I have taught Business Studies to KS4 and 5 and ICT to KS3-4. Exam boards taught Applied, BTEC and Cambridge Technicals Business, OCR Nationals ICT and AQA ICT. My students really struggle with the finance element of the course. They asked me to create a resource which lists all the formulae they need for the two exam units involving finance. These are for the Cambridge Technical 2016 suite Unit 1 The Business Environment and Unit 3 Business Decisions. The formulae/ guidance included are: Costs and revenues Gross and Net profit Profitability rations (net and gross) Break-even Cash flow data Investment appraisal (payback, NPV and ARR)
