Quick revision or starter activity for "Since You Been Gone" (Ballard/Rainbow). This is a one slide powerpoint with all music fully embedded. Simply click on the revision focus question and the music will play. All musical examples are edited and short in length - you will not be hearing the full track! This is a homework designed to consider and identify the changes in recording formats since 1950. It has been used as part of the ASO4 Popular Music focus for Eduqas GCSE Music. Quick homework which has raised some interesting questions and introduced learners to some varying recording formats and consider the recent "Vinyl Revolution!" The document is in PDF format and contains two slides. One to identify recording format images. The second sheet asks details and information regarding each format as well as some thought provoking questions as to why some formats have succeeded and some have failed! Final document includes general answers to format identification and dates introduced.
