Spanish where I live _ my area _ mi barrio _ core vocabulary, speaking mat and scaffold

A resource to use to get pupils to start talking about their town. Their is an exercise to distinguish between es/ está/ hay and some key vocab. There is a speaking mat which will allow pupils to start describing where they live immediately and then also some extension vocabulary which the pupils must decide are positive or negative expressions. The final activity requires pupils to input a grammatically correct word into a blank from free choice. This will then provide a model for their own work.
