FRENCH - Clothing and Shopping Card Game (100 cards)

FRENCH - Clothing and Shopping Card Game (100 cards)

This is a card game to use in activities about clothes and shopping for clothes during French lessons. The cards represent different kinds of clothes with colour and style variations (such as long and short sleeve t-shirts and shirts…). There are also a few cards with questions you may use for a shopping activity (‘Quelle taille ?’, ‘Quelle pointure ?’, ‘C’est combien ?’), as well as cards with the names of the clothes, so that the students can match them with the drawings (useful to make them learn the vocabulary). There are 100 cards in total. The files are ready to print, recto verso, and there are registration marks and bleed marks to help you or your reprographics department print them. I would recommend printing them in A3, and to laminate them in individual pouches (they are the size of a business card). If you need any help with the files, feel free to drop a message.

French Dominoes and Pairs Shops (Tout Le Monde Level 1 Module 5)

French Dominoes and Pairs Shops (Tout Le Monde Level 1 Module 5)

These activities work well in groups of 2-4. I get the children to start with the dominoes to link them round in a complete rectangle. Once the children have completed this, I check it and get them to leave it on the table so they can then self check when playing pairs and I know they are matching the words and pictures correctly. Pairs cards have been created so that once printed back to back the cards can not been seen through. The words cards have a different colour backing to the images so children can easily tell the difference. Therefore, they can pick one of each type to match them more easily.

Les Magasins (Shops) - A la ville - In town – Dominoes Game & PPT display - KS2 or KS3 French MFL

---This resource is similar to the match up resource, so don't buy if you've already invested in that resource!--- Ideally suited to KS2 or KS3 French lessons, though would be equally good for KS4 lower abilities. This resource introduces French names of nine common places in town (shops) in a PowerPoint show. As always, masculine and feminine nouns are colour coded throughout the resource. The PowerPoint would be equally useful for classroom display. You could even print on A5 and laminate for a keyword wall or print four to a page for flash cards. Alongside the PowerPoint is a 'dominoes' game and instructions included. Printing and laminating this means it can be used over and over. Enjoy.
