La Princesa Durmiente

La Princesa Durmiente

Original files seem to have disappeared so reloading it! A ppt with embedded sound of There was a Princess long ago (translated by a Spanish FLA) Great for class acting out with or without props. I have a plastic sword for the prince, a tiara for the princess, a pointy hat for the wicked fairy and other random things that get added!

A Spanglish game story

A Spanglish game story

As I read this story to the children they have short intervals to do what the children in the story are doing. They end up inventing a game called La monja and el diablo in which some language can be used - either English or Spanish. Every group of children invent a different game.

I read the Henré Tullet book to the children, keeping my Spanish comments to 'presiona aquí, rojo, amarillo, azul' and the numbers. Then I got the children to colour in this sheet and cut it out carefully so they have their own Henré Tullet cards to read to me/ each other/ take home.
