24 pg. workbook for pupils from writing formula through to balanced equations. The booklet is aimed at 14-16 aged pupils but has been used successfully with younger pupils. Starting with formula of elements & diatomic elements pupils are shown how to complete formula for covalent molecules, ionic compounds, ionic compounds with transition metal, ionic compounds with polyatomic ions and ionic formula Having gone through this part 2 of the booklet deal with work equations, formula equations and then balanced equations. Throughout are learning intentions, worked examples with diagrams where appropriate and dozens of pupil questions. Also included are metacognitive activities and exam style questions.
