A 15-slide PowerPoint presentation which starts with a Do Now activity to practise previous German content covered and then recaps colours. It then talks through hair and eye colours, plus hair styles and lengths, and practises these with a listening activity. There is then some extra vocabulary (“beard”, “moustache”, “glasses” and “bald head” and it ends with a writing activity in the first and third person. It then goes through 16 common German phonic sounds for students to note down on a grid (included). It then asks students to try pronouncing some team members of the 2020 Women’s German National football team. There is also a short poem, and an activity to highlight the phonics covered in the lesson in the numbers up to 12. Also included is a grid for students to fill in at the same time.
