This resources includes titles, images, artists and information about Art movements across time. These display resources are great to create a visual time line of key movements in Art history, and allows students to gain a deeper understanding of them. 2 variations of the time line information are available, one containing all Art movement information including artists names and images, and one with just the information speech bubbles. (Recommended printing size to match display board pictured is A4, however, this may vary depending on your display board measurements) NOTE: The titles for each movement (Timeline letters PDF) need to be printed and stuck together. I have created the document in this way to save space and paper when printing. Any questions about constructing the titles just let me know. A useful and simple resource for teaching students how to create varying tones using coloured pencil, as well as how to blend colours together and mark-making. This resource would be most suitable for Key Stage 3 when teaching coloured pencil fundamentals early on, as well as allowing Key Stage 4 or 5 students to practice and recall how to use them effectively/successfully. It may also be suitable for Primary students if applicable. 2 worksheets are avaiable, one with and one without the decorative border/background. A useful and simple worksheet for teaching student about the basics of Colour Theory, focusing and just Primary, Secondary, Warm and Cool Colours. Students have the oppitunity to create a colour wheel showing the Primary and Secondary colours, as well as what warm and cool colours are. This can be completed in watercolour, coloured pencils, or any other materials you would like. An editable version is also available to edit to however you see fit, with 2 differentiation options available. This resource has been designed for Key Stage 3 students. This plant-themed worksheet allows students of all Secondary Key Stages to learn and practice how to apply the technique of pointillism to complete an image. Students will apply knowledge of building up tonal values using dots, and can practice by completing the tonal scale at the bottom of the worksheet. This is a short lesson PowerPoint, exploring the artwork of Lucienne Day. Students will look closely at her artwork, explore and discussing the shapes, colours and lines used within it. Students will then re-create her artwork in steps, using the examples to support them. To extend this lesson further, students could create their own textures and use these to collage with.
