Children very simply choose a jigsaw piece and find the corresponding number bond to 10 to make a complete 2 piece jigsaw. These jigsaws are the perfect tool for teaching your children about quarters or fourths. They are fun, interactive and really engaged my children. I used these jigsaws as part of math rotations and maths play but they could also be used as a cut and stick activity individually if desired. In this resource, you will find four different jigsaws each with the numerical fraction in the middle which the children surround with three coloured shape representations and the written word.
