Dutch Halloween Skeleton Counting Song - PowerPoint + Halloween Worksheets + 31 Teaching Ideas

Do you teach Dutch? Use my Halloween materials to boost their learning in a fun way! You learn a counting song in Dutch. I have also included a Halloween themed worksheet which you could ask the children to translate into Dutch. I have also included a presentation showing you 31 different ways the students could then use their worksheets to create new teaching activities in the classroom. You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different skeletons being shown in each of the photos. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about the Halloween Skeleton Counting Song. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different groups of skeletons. The students can then discuss what they think each skeleton was saying or thinking. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

Speak, Write and Play In Dutch - The Fun Way Of Learning Dutch!

Speak, Write and Play In Dutch - The Fun Way Of Learning Dutch!

Are you learning Dutch? Are you looking for a fun way to learn Dutch? I have developed a way to learn different languages based on my experience as an ESL teacher. This pack has 57 different settings for students to talk about in Dutch. The worksheets themselves are in English and the students do need to translate the places and objects they see into Dutch. At the end of the session, the students can play a fun game of word bingo to show they have mastered that day's vocabulary. Try it, it is a lot of fun for everyone! * Please note - these resources provide visual prompts, not specific language instruction. Dutch Bingo pack: This is a simple starter game for students. There are 114 different pictures to choose from. Select a single picture and project the image on the wall or share it with the class as a handout. Let's Talk in Dutch!: This set of cards looks at 57 different settings. The teacher describes something in the top card. The students then use this to model a sentence using the bottom set of pictures. There are lots of things to see and describe in every picture. When the students have completed this task, they can repeat it by working in pairs to discuss each picture. Let's Write in Dutch pack: There are lots of ways of using this teaching pack. It could be used as writing assessment for students learning Dutch. If you like this resource, please leave a comment and a review. COLORFUL ABSTRACT PAINTING ART in watercolors - free download images in high resolution to print

COLORFUL ABSTRACT PAINTING ART in watercolors - free download images in high resolution to print

for parents, pupils, students and teachers in modern visual art: Here I placed a selection of my recent abstract and rather colorful watercolor paintings on paper. The images I published here in high resolution so you can download them free in a nice quality, if you like. These group of images I created mainly in a written way with brush; they are meant to be abstract painting in the sense of automatic writing of Surrealism. I painted them without any knowledge or ideas beforehand. Just in the action itself they come to life, only using my awareness during the painting process. Because I paint in watercolor the touch of the gesture in these pictures is rather directly, visible and clear, which I appreciate very much. - I like to create clear colorful and abstract images. Please enjoy if you like them and print them in nice quality. - Dutch artist, Fons Heijnsbroek

COLOFUL WATERCOLORs on PAPER: My Bed in the Hospital - by senior woman painter Hubertine Heijermans

Pictures of 'My bed in the Hospital'. Here you find colorful watercolor paintings - still life in a large variation of just one and the same hospital bed - with its blankets, a pillow and sheets. The paintings are painted in watercolor technique on paper in 1990, by the Dutch-born senior woman-artist Hubertine Heijermans; she is living and working in Switzerland, canton Vaud. She gave me permission to place these watercolor paintings on TES in high resolution pictures - so you can print her images for free - just how you like it. But please mention her name! When I see these still life-watercolors of Hubertine Heijermans, she made of her bed in the hospital, they give me at once an impression of a mountain landscape. Maybe because I know very well she lives in Switzerland! I see in these still lifes of her hospital bed the structures of landscape with hills and small rivers running through the fields on the blankets. I love them! - Fons Heijnsbroek
