Early finisher / free draw art worksheet based on circles

Early finisher / free draw art worksheet based on circles

Primary school art worksheet to use at the end of a lesson as children start to finish their work. We refer to it as Free Draw, but it still provides guidance and structure whilst allowing the children to use their imagination. Pupils fill in the circles with detailed drawings of items that are circular in shape, e.g. pizza, dough nut, eyeball, apple, etc. Sheets can be stuck into pupils sketch books and added to at each session as time allows. The task is fun but encourages observation, lateral thinking and drawing skills. Suitable for all levels of ability. Also useful in a unit on 2D shapes.

Hundreds and 120's Number Charts - Missing Numbers

Hundreds and 120's Number Charts - Missing Numbers

Included in this resource is both 100 and 120 number charts so that you can easily differentiate your lessons depending upon the students ability and learning goals. These number charts are a perfect way for students to learn and practice both their counting and place value. I have used these individually, for groups and whole class work. Once the students are shown what to do, they can also be used for homework, seatwork, or at a math center. The grids are large enough for students to write the numbers in with some numbers already entered to guide the students along.

Money Year 3/4 varied fluency and reasoning:Recognising money making values using different coins

Money Year 3/4 varied fluency and reasoning:Recognising money making values using different coins

I have included a pdf and word version (so you can edit to suit the needs of your class). There is also a smart board presentation to help demonstrate how to make different amounts using place value counters to help children bridge practical, concrete to abstarct situations. There are 21 money questions that will allow your children to tackle money in different situations and concepts. These are designed to be used to allow your children to achieve greater depth by explaining their thinking and I would encourage your children to do so! I hope that these resources are useful and feel free to edit these to suit the needs of your class. Many thanks!
