Lower Lea Valley: Urban Regeneration Case Study

Lower Lea Valley: Urban Regeneration Case Study

This lesson is for KS4 Geography and is a direct replacement for the London Docklands urban regeneration schemes. I teach this as part of OCR A 9-1 GCSE Geography- but this will apply to other exam boards. The lesson focuses upon the location of the Lower Lea Valley, why the area needed to be regenerated and how this was done. It also looks at the social, economic and environmental advantages and disadvantages of the regeneration. Included is an exam style question with a self-derived mark scheme. All resources necessary are attached :)
