Conditional Tense Practice - Advice Spanish

In this resource students are in charge of an advice column for an online website. They need to respond to other student's situations/problems and tell these students what they WOULD do in their situation. Provides an opportunity for students to read typical problems (I forgot my homework, I didn't study, stain on my sister's shirt) and respond in a realistic or funny way. At the end students can create their own problem, that classmates will respond to.

Encourages them to spot patterns and to think about other elements in the sentence (mis, me gusta) which need changing for plural form. Includes a 'Who is talking? task and a game at end.

Me gusta + infinitive with Shrek

Lesson which I used alongside Mira 1 to introduce me gusta + infinitives to my lower ability year 7's. Several scaffolding tasks (match ups and a gap fill) followed by a Bronze Silver Gold comprehension task based on Shrek's dating profile, then a template (with a supported version) for Fiona's dating profile, and lastly 2 different templates for a dialogue between Shrek/Fiona, Donkey/Dragon to discuss their interests.

Speaking test booklet to prepare students for the Conversation of the new GCSE spanish speaking test (Edexcel). The booklet includes a detailed summary of the requirements of the new speaking exam (role play, picture based task and conversation), both at foundation and higher levels, explained in a student-friendly way, as well as the mark schemes for each element of the test, examples of role plays (foundation and higher) and stimulus cards (with foundation and higher questions), and a very comprehensive list of questions for the general conversation. All the questions have been translated to allow the teachers to use them in the classroom, set them as homework or tell the students to work independently on them .
