KS3/KS4/KS5 Maths (enrichment): Investigating graph theory and networks lesson

Full lesson on investigating graph theory and networks which is extremely derivative -- very largely based on the stupendous lesson and worksheet uploaded by @Owen134866. I have added some more scaffolding in terms of discussing vocabulary and created a support sheet so that this topic can be accessed at KS3 and above. I have delivered this lesson successfully to mixed ability Year 7s and high ability Year 9s to date, and always really enjoy it. It's generally something I pull out towards the end of term as a treat with a view to improving students' problem-solving skills. Extension worksheet is adapted from the Konigsberg problem entry on Wikipedia although I have not yet used it -- it might prove to be a good extension to the main lesson for A Level students. A Level EdExcel Decision Mathematics 1 - Notes and Worked Examples

This is a powerpoint covering all areas of Decision 1 (I realise they are only putting it in further maths from 2017). It contains brief notes by way of an explanation, model answers to questions and a question or two for the students to do; all of the questions come with answers that you can display when ready. The slide show comes with a progress grid (regularly referred to in the presentation) so that students can mark their progress from start to finish and pinpoint any areas that may need extra work with a “red/amber/green” system that they fill in. It’s what I use in my lessons before setting tasks from worksheets or text books to practice.

Decision Mathematics AS Level (Edexcel) Posters - Graph Definitions

A large proportion of students are visual learners, this means bright colours, bold diagrams, and image repetition will help when studying. Enclosed are posters for Edexcel AS Mathematics (Decision Branch), with cross-connections with most other boards The posters are A4 documents, split into 4 boxes with bold colourful information in each. They are well used scattered around a room or the house, so constant viewing of the posters will help you remember the information that in on them. Can Santa complete Christmas?

Functional type activity involving distances and times. Santa has to deliver the presents to places in Cornwall. Students are given distance charts and times to travel and are asked to plot shortest and quickest route. There is an extra challenge of a load limit for Santa's sleigh. Have included distance table, time table and three maps; one blank and the other two completed with times and mileage. All resources are in one word file and accompanied with a powerpoint.
