PSHE education Toolkit

PSHE education Toolkit

The Ealing Health Improvement Team have developed a PSHE education toolkit, designed to support PSHE coordinators in developing, embedding and monitoring a whole school approach to PSHE education. This toolkit contains resources, audit tools and surveys which will support PSHE coordinators in embedding a consistent approach to PSHE education. This toolkit is most effective when used in conjunction with the Ealing PSHE scheme of work for Primary Schools. Please see individual year group lesson plans in our resource section or email us for an overview of the scheme of work in its entirety.

PSHE: Self esteem and confidence

PSHE: Self esteem and confidence

I created this lesson for my year 8 PSHE group for them to consider 'is it good being me?'. The lesson focussed upon their strengths and then leads onto self esteem and confidence. This lesson is structured in a clear and easy to follow manner, with... - Starter task - Clear learning objectives - A range of new information with supporting video hyperlinks linked learning tasks and activities clearly outlined. Please note one task refers to a resource from PSHE Education 2 teacher support by de Meza et al, 2014 (Hodder Education), however, this task could easily be made up yourself, I have given some suggestions to get you started if you do not have access to this resource. - Plenary - A chance to reflect on some interesting quotes linked to this subject area.
