OCR A Level PE revision game

OCR A Level PE revision game

A Level PE revision game based on the game ‘Articulate’. The reader must describe key words/phrases on the cards without using prompts such as ‘sounds like…’ or ‘rhymes with…’ whilst their team mate guesses the key word/phrase. There are 6 topic areas to try out. Start by picking one topic area and go through the pack trying to get as many correct answers with your partner in the time limit, e.g. 30 seconds. The opposing pair will then take a turn on a topic of their choice. Then swap over roles as reader and guesser to complete another topic. Carry on until you complete all 6 areas then total up your scores to see who won. If team ‘pass/skip’ a card you can introduce a point deduction to make things interesting.

Student Behaviour Reflection Sheet for PE - The PE Shed - Free

Student Behaviour Reflection Sheet for PE - The PE Shed - Free

The Student behaviour reflection sheet has been created by The PE Shed to provide PE teachers with a strategy for managing behaviour with minimal affect on the lesson. Students use this to reflect on an incident that has happened in a lesson. This strategy has multiple benefits: It reduces the affect on the lesson flow. It reduces the time teachers spend resolving incidents. It allows students to express their feelings. It allows students to have their view heard. It provides evidence for further reporting. This strategy requires students who have reading and writing skills and it generally works best with older students. Perfect for Primary / Elementary / Physical Education Teachers and Sports Coaches. Protein Intake Calculator

Protein Intake Calculator

Many studies conclude that resistance-based exercise is beneficial for many reasons. In addition to better insulin sensitivity, lifting weights can reduce oxidative stress and also improve our metabolism. In order to reap the full benefits of this form of exercise, adequate amounts of protein must be consumed. This protein calculator cites the research used, and also allows users to enter many variables including body fat percentage, activity level, whether they are in a caloric deficit, exercise type and frequency. This is a free tool for anyone to use.

Contains around 60 key terms that are covered in GCSE PE theory, and can be used either as posters or little notes to stick into a workbook. I also created a Quizlet revision guide with the same key terms, and my username there is the same as here, so you should be able to find it under “PE Theory”. Terms and definitions are the same.
