This is a set of 54 double sided flashcards (print double sided, flip long edge) on the atomic structure unit. I have colour coded them (blue = easiest, green = harder, red = hardest), so you can differentiate by asking different groups to focus on learning different colour groups. I’ve made these for my year 9’s end of unit test, but I will also be using them with my year 11s for revision.

This is the ‘Inside Particles’ lesson in the AQA Activate, Matter unit This is designed to be easily followed / delivered by non-specialists as the answers are all included. You will need Molymods available for this activity - but if you have non available you could improvise with plasticine balls and cocktail sticks. There is a literacy support sheet included for SEN students and students with weak handwriting. I have attached the periodic table I used in the lesson, but this is not my own and as such is not included in the sale. It is the generic GCSE periodic table included in most textbooks. This is a series of two lessons for British Science Week. The first is a theory lesson which looks into the environmental problems with plastic. There is a 7 minute video from Plastic Oceans - with a question sheet for students to listen for the answers as they’re watching. I’ve set this up with a workbook for students to complete, so it’s separate from their usual books. (please remove our school logo from the workbook and insert your own) There is an associated homework.
