Christmas Song Pack

This collection of my Christmas songs covers all the age ranges in the primary school. A number of the songs such as “Playing for Christmas Day” and “When it’s Christmas” are suitable for the very youngest infant and nursery children and would make ideal concert items. “What’s He Doing for Goodness Sake?” is a fun Santa song with possibilities for added percussion. There is also a traditional nativity containing six songs. “Investigate Christmas” asks questions about how we celebrate Christmas. “What did you get for Christmas?” Covers some of the possibilities for gifts at Christmas time. Songs 6 to 11 can be used to produce a nativity concert item.

This set of 11 Christmas songs consists of:

• 22 mp3 files, with both vocal and piano backing tracks
• a PDF of the music and lyrics with helpful teacher’s notes
• an illustrated PowerPoint of each song for use with digital projectors and whiteboards. The audio tracks, vocal and instrumental, are embedded in the PowerPoint - you just have to click on the relevant icon to select vocal or piano only. An additional PowerPoint is included with stave notation.
• a separate Word document containing the lyrics.

No licence is required for performing any of my material, and the music and lyrics may be copied freely for use within or by your school.
