Dance - Primary Dance Assessment Framework

These Dance Assessment sheets are designed to be easy to use, reflect the national curriculum 2014 and expected levels of progress (A.R.E.)
Can inform planning, support delivery and enable formative and summative assessment (afl).

Easy to adapt in Word format and based on our highly successful Norfolk PE Assessment Framework format. You do not use all the criteria but rather select from across the strands of learning to reflect pupil’s knowledge, skills and understanding. This can then easily be used to create a set of LO’s for a unit of work (e.g. WILF’s). These are NOT to be used as a checklist but rather select key strands to plan, teach and assess, share with the pupils and let them show you - keep it simple!

Have a look, adapt, modify but always remember that it is more than just making a judgement on what they can DO!
