Here is my seven lesson KS3 scheme of learning and progress for river landscapes. It closely mirrors the detail and content of OCR A 9-1 GCSE Geography- in order to prepare pupils’ for the content of the new GCSE course.

This SOLAP includes:

  • The hydrological cycle
  • Geomorphic processes that impact upon river landscapes
  • River landforms
  • Case Study: The River Tees focusing upon its location, uses and whether humans positively and negatively impact The Tees- with GCSE questions, support via structure strips and relevant worksheets.
