Spanish Grammar - Nouns (1)

Spanish grammar worksheet on the gender of nouns. This worksheet focuses on nouns ending in -o and -a as an introduction.

There is an introductory grammar point at the top of the sheet which offers a simple explanation of nouns.

There are then two exercises which practise dictionary skills. Exercise one involves looking up the Spanish word to determine if the word ends in -o or -a. Pupils must write if the word is then masculine or feminine and then the translation of the word.

Exercise two involves using the English side of the dictionary and pupils must choose the correct word based on the dictionary entry.
