Please do let me know if you spot any mistakes.

The Perfect Tense Card Race

The Perfect Tense Card Race

Print out the cards and laminate them. Pupils work in pairs or small groups and race against each other to form the perfect tense with the cards after reading the infinitive and the subject from the PowerPoint. Good element of competition and really highlights how much (or little!) they actually know. Includes avoir and être verbs and agreement. Can be easily adapted to suit your requirements too.

NEW VERSION ADDED We print these in A3 and have them on every table in every classroom. I have used suggested phrases from lots of sources as well as my own. The pupils use the mats regularly during group talk activities and their spontaneous use of language has increased significantly.

Mes vacances et ma passion-Les Alpes

Mes vacances et ma passion-Les Alpes

I tried to select a nice topic and theme to teach and revise various skills and grammatical aspects . It links to Expo3 ( la Normandie ) rouge with the discovery of an area but I jaust added more on this so students get to compare areas and see how varied France is. I will add more through a different power point and add worksheets , this is taking ages .... hope it helps. I used the interactive quiz with the gap fill as a little starter and introduction about the Alps before showing the Power Point.

These flash cards are great for small group work, intervention and assessment. They have a multitude of uses and when laminated for durability, will survive many hands for years to come! This pack includes all the sounds/letters for Phases 2, 3, 4 and 5. All the cards are colour-coded and labelled by phase. For each sound, there are three cards: Card 1: Sound Card 2: Matching picture Card 3: The sound highlighted in a word, alongside the matching picture Ideas for use: • Use to test knowledge of words already learnt • Print two sets and match the pairs • With two sets of cards, play a memory game, starting with all the cards face down, then taking it in turns to turn over two cards and read the sounds. If they match, keep the pair and have another go. If they don't match, turn them back over. • As a student learns each sound, stick the card into a notebook. Read through the notebook for revision and practice. • 'Hide' a few cards around the room while your student isn't watching, then ask them to find and bring you a specific sound. • Cut out the cards, stack them together and staple down the side to make a mini book to read and practise the sounds. ****************************************************** CONTENT ⊛ Cover ⊛ Sound Flashcards - Phases 2-5 ⊛ TOU/Credits PAGE COUNT: 69 ********************************************************** RELATED RESOURCES All Phonics Resources ********************************************************** Teacher's Toolkit Phonics
