KS3 French Comparisons and Sports

KS3 French Comparisons and Sports

My lesson covers: How to use comparisons in order to compare different sports. It is useful, but not necessary, for students to have covered 'on peut' + infinitive in French - this is only included in the 'some' target and can be swapped easily for another challenge. My lesson includes: Differentiated objectives and starter word jumble. Activity one: Students translate different sports in teams. Answers provided on next slide for self assessment. Challenges included for each activity. Activity two: How comparisons work, key words needed. Followed by differentiated activity using comparisons to translate. Final 'apply' activity: Two options: Speaking or writing tasks. Review: Pyramid review.
