Guides for using Fusion 360

These two guides should help most students get to grips with Fusion 360. There are 2 versions available, I would suggest starting all students on the basic version, then distribute the Advanced sheets as required. I have trialed these guide sheets with Y7 - 10 students and found if they follow the steps closely they can excel with this powerful software package. The guides encourage students to build using ‘Components’ as a number of my pupils have become stuck having designed their model as a collection of ‘Bodies’. Although it makes teaching the software slightly more challenging to begin with, I have found this approach produces more stable models in the long run. These resources are freely available, make use of them and share, but please keep the logo on the bottom and do not sell them on. Thanks Dan
