It may not be copied, rewritten, shared or distributed in any way. It is non-editable in a zipped format. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. Please read the Terms of Use carefully. French-speaking countries, capital cities and flags label and colour worksheets provide great learning opportunities for any appropriate age group, at any time of the school year, and are definitely the perfect activity for consolidating knowledge of these countries and flags - students definitely really enjoy testing their memory and colouring the flags. Students***develop their language skills, as well as their knowledge of both the French-speaking and wider world***, in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. There are 40 countries where French is an official language, and may be a number of countries and capital cities that students do not know, or are not aware of, so the games help them fully develop their general awareness, knowledge and understanding of Les pays francophones. There is a 2-page country, capital city and flag reference list of all countries and capitals, which students find useful to read through before working on the sheets - I laminate these, and one list per small group of 5-6 students is sufficient. It can also be used as a year-round reference resource, which students can file in their workbooks or learning folders. Laminate the cards and reference sheets if you can - you will be able to use them for years to come. There are four sets of worksheets, each with four pages: Set 1: colour flags, students label with country and capital city Set 2: blank flags, students label country and capital city, and colour the flags Set 3: blank flags, country is given, students label capital city, and colour the flags Set 4: blank flags, capital city is given, students label country, and colour the flags Have a browse in my store for more resources focusing on French-speaking countries, and a wide range of other French teaching and learning materials, with French resource boxes, special offer bundles, and lots of freebies. KS3 SPANISH SPEAKING SKILLS KS4 SPANISH SPEAKING SKILLS BEGINNER SPANISH CONVERSATION STARTERS Files are non-editable in a zipped format. The resource is copyright, all rights reserved. It may not be copied, rewritten, amended, shared or distributed outside your own classroom in any way. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. Please read the Terms of Use. This set of Spanish conversation starters features 100 starters in question format, suitable for KS3 Spanish to KS4 Spanish students. Speaking is a language skill that learners tend to find very challenging, and increased engagement with language that requires them to both reproduce language they are already familiar with, and to be creative with that language in order to produce new language is integral to successful language learning. The questions focus largely on the present tense, with some examples of tenses such as preterite and conditional. I like to include tenses we may not have formally covered, as the activity is not solely about practising language, but also about actively learning it. I encourage students to look for cues and clues in the questions themselves, and this certainly enables them to engage with new or unknown language successfully, and to progress in their learning. Questions formats are varied, to ensure maximum opportunity to work with the different ways to ask questions in Spanish. Some questions seek to elicit very similar information, but are asked in different language: this avoids learners simply parroting learned responses to fixed prompts. I remind students that it is not necessary to tell the truth - the purpose is to create and produce accurate and realistic language. Students can prepare their responses in as much detail as possible on the accompanying planning sheet, remembering that these are conversation starters, so that once they have responded, they should then say something to keep the conversation going. The starters broadly address the following themes: personal information family & routines at home hobbies & free time likes & dislikes local environment food & drink school & studies sport & healthy living countries & languages weather & seasons There is a companion translation activity too, as well as a special offer mini-bundle: SPANISH CONVERSATION TRANSLATION WORKSHEETS https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/spanish-conversation-translation-worksheets-1-12999437 SPANISH CONVERSATION STARTERS & TRANSLATION WORKSHEETS MINI-BUNDLE https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/spanish-conversation-starters-and-translation-1-12999527 ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y BUEN APRENDIZAJE!

FRENCH IMPERFECT TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE

KS3 FRENCH KS4 FRENCH GCSE FRENCH IMPERFECT TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE FOCUSING ON 25 HIGH-FREQUENCY FRENCH VERBS My students really like this kind of grammar activity, as they like to work and learn independently, which is a successful way of varying teaching and learning methodologies - I’ve found it’s really important to avoid predominantly teacher-led learning in the languages classroom. There are 150 conjugations across 3 differentiated conjugation challenges with a full answer key and verb lists. I use these kinds of workbooks in lots of different ways: for practice during the introduction phase, for independent choice in class time, for homework, for practice and revision during vacation and at return to class, and for cover lessons - they’re really versatile, and ideal for advanced KS3 French into KS4 French students who want to practice and refresh their conjugation skills in French, and are working with more complex language and texts which include a range of tenses. Though the workbook focuses solely on the correct conjugation of verbs, and does not look at word order in the context of full sentences, there are fixed conjugation patterns that students can learn, recognize and apply, ensuring that their spoken and written French is accurate, and that their understanding of French across the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing is robust. Students become very familiar and confident the more they work with conjugation, and these quick conjugations certainly help to embed that successfully. The resource is structured as follows: Two alphabetical verb reference lists: French-English and English-French. Three conjugation challenges, each with 50 individual conjugations: Conjugation Challenge 1: each verb conjugated in French across a range of pronouns, with students writing the corresponding English verb conjugation. Conjugation Challenge 2: gives the infinitive of each verb in French, specifying the target pronoun. Students write the corresponding verb conjugation in French. Conjugation Challenge 3: students write the corresponding French verb conjugation, and its infinitive, from an English prompt. Notes and Next Steps template which students visit regularly - it really does encourage them to think about where they are now, how confident they feel, and what they might need to work on a little more to be absolutely sure of their conjugation skills. answer key Have a browse in my store for more French grammar activities, and a wide range of other French teaching and learning materials, with special offer bundles and lots of freebies too! PRIMARY FRENCH CHRISTMAS KS3 FRENCH CHRISTMAS BINGO GAMES Files are non-editable in a zipped format. This product is copyright, all rights reserved. It may not be copied, rewritten, amended, shared or distributed in any way outside your own classroom. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. Please read the Terms of Use carefully. Ideal multi-skill language learning activity for developing listening, speaking, reading, writing and spelling skills for French language learners of all ages - in my experience, adult learners really enjoy a few competitive games of bingo too! I’ve described the games as not grade-specific, as the general goal for me is not to learn a lot of French Christmas vocabulary as such, but to work quite specifically on French language skills development. There are 100 grids in total, in both colour & BW. The color grids definitely look really good, but can prove expensive to prep - I have sets that I’ve laminated, and students use wipe-free pens, so that the grids can be used many times. Younger learners do tend to prefer the BW grids, taking some additional time to colour them in themselves. I often combine that activity with revision of colours, which can work really well too. The games are designed for players to cross off all the words or pictures on their grids in order to win the game. This set comprises the following: 40 picture-only bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages) You can give students a random selection of pages, with students selecting the order of grids they play from. You can also cut out the grids, and place them in a small bowl or similar object on tables. Students then select grids randomly from the bowl. For additional challenge, students can play all four grids in a single game. Colour and BW 40 words & pictures bingo 12-square grids, 4 per page (10 pages) Colour & BW 10 picture-only 30-square grids (A4 portrait format) Distribute the grids among students, several grids per student, which they choose randomly for every game. There should be several winners per game, depending on the size of the group. Colour & B&W 10 words & pictures 30-square grids (A4 portrait format) Colour & B&W Calling card, featuring 32 French Christmas words. Print or photocopy double-sided to minimise prep. There are 8 check columns per page, so that you can really get the most from each card - call the words randomly, ticking them off as you go, so that you can check the winning grids. You can vary the use of the definite and indefinite article, singular or plural. Students should also be the bingo caller, rather than always the teacher. Calling card, featuring the English translation of the French Christmas words. This is great for additional challenge - students hear the English word, and translate it quickly, looking for it in writing in French in the grid. JOYEUX NOËL ET BONNE ANNÉE !

GEOGRAPHY EUROPE COUNTRIES CAPITALS FLAGS PRESENTATION & QUIZ

KS3 GEOGRAPHY KS4 EUROPE COUNTRIES CAPITAL CITIES FLAGS PRESENTATION & QUIZ The resource is non-editable in a zipped format. It may not be copied, rewritten, shared or distributed outside your own classroom in any way. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. Please read the Terms of Use. An ideal introduction to Europe, helping students develop their awareness of European countries, capital cities and flags. There are 60 countries featured in the quiz. Each country is presented individually with its capital city and flag - as you show the slides, encourage students to shout out the country names as they appear - this tends to aid memory quite considerably - I point out the location of each country on the background map, which helps students situate each country within the continent, and visualizing the location of the countries again aids memory. The presentation is followed by a series of 100 questions. The questions are structured slightly differently to differentiate the challenge a little: some focus on the countries, others on capital cities, and some on flags. Taken together, students will definitely develop a sound locational knowledge of the countries of Europe, their capital cities and flags. The quiz works particularly well with several teams - encourage each team to choose a***European-themed team game***. Teams can either take it in turns to answer a question, but it’s also great fun, and keeps up a lively pace, to play as a Shout it out! quiz - whoever shouts out the correct answer first wins the point. The quiz works really well across the entire school year, and not just in geography or social science lessons - it’s really popular in form time too!. The presentation moves on with a click. Each question slide is followed by the relevant answer slide - simply click, and it appears! The resource cannot be edited due to copyright and licensing restrictions of the fonts and clipart. Please note this is the Geography World Continents Europe Presentation & Quiz version of my European Day of Languages Europe Presentation & Quiz - please ensure you have not already purchased the European Day of Languages version. GERMAN CONDITIONAL TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE

(0)
GCSE GERMAN KS4 GERMAN KS3 GERMAN CONDITIONAL TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE 25 high-frequency German verbs, 150 conjugation questions, 3 differentiated challenges, answer keys ideal for advanced KS3 German and KS4 German students who are beginning to work with compound sentences and longer texts, and generally developing their knowledge and understanding of conjugation and tense in German. The workbook focuses on the correct conjugation of verbs, rather than usage, but I definitely find it useful to remind students of a number of things when focusing on or revising tense and verb conjugation. For example, although usage of the conditional tense in both English and German is largely similar, there are some differences, notably the position of the accompanying key verb in the infinitive form at the end of the clause or sentence, rather than directly following the auxiliary. Students also need to have a good grasp of the relevant auxiliary, in this case werden in the conditional tense. Conjugating werden in the conditional tense, and placing it together with the accompanying verb in the infinitive form is a fixed pattern, with which students become very familiar and confident the more they work with conjugation in this tense. The resource has the following structure: Two alphabetical verb reference lists: German-English and English-German. Three conjugation challenges, each with 50 individual conjugations: Conjugation Challenge 1: each verb conjugated in German across a range of pronouns, with students writing the corresponding English verb conjugation. Conjugation Challenge 2: gives the infinitive of each verb in German, specifying the target pronoun. Students write the corresponding verb conjugation in German. Conjugation Challenge 3: students write the corresponding German verb conjugation, and its infinitive, from an English prompt. Notes and Next Steps sheet, which encourages students to think about how their understanding of German conjugation works, what progress they have made, what their targets for improvement might realistically be, and what they might reasonably do in order to meet those targets. Students also note down any new verbs they discover, which enables them to build up a really sound verb vocabulary bank. answer key Have a browse in my store for more German grammar activities, and a wide range of other German teaching and learning resources, with special offer bundles and lots of freebies too! FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES BUNTING

BACK TO SCHOOL FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES BUNTING BANNERS It’s great to create a new look for the new school year - I use bunting / banners not only to create a real French look and feel in the learning environment, but also to promote everyday language and core vocabulary for learners of all ages. Bunting works well throughout the entire school year, but definitely has a celebratory back to school feel! The bunting has a small tag that you can clip to a line of string across the room (like a washing line!), or to a wall. They look good either alphabetically, or according to geographical location. The bunting creates an instant introduction to the French-speaking world, with 40 individual banners showing a range of world countries and territories where French is an official language. Each banner shows the country and capital city in French, and its national flag. There may be a number of countries and capital cities that students do not know, or are not aware of, so the bunting also help them develop their general awareness, knowledge and understanding of world geography. I’ve got a selection of related resources in my store, for example: FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES, CAPITAL CITIES & FLAGS POSTERS FLASHCARDS https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-11682869 There’s a word wall too: FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES, CAPITAL CITIES & FLAGS WORD WALL https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12098711 This is a set of French-speaking countries flags label & colour worksheets: FRENCH-SPEAKING COUNTRIES, CAPITAL CITIES & FLAGS WORKSHEETS : LABEL & COLOUR https://www.tes.com/teaching-resource/resource-12565188 and a set of games cards, which are great for pair and small-group work - my students definitely know their Pays Francophones after playing a few times with these! ALEVEL GCSE GERMAN VERBS CONJUGATION PRESENT PERFECT IMPERFECT TENSES SIXTEEN WORKBOOKS & ANSWER KEYS: REGULAR VERBS : SEPARABLE VERBS : REFLEXIVE VERBS : IRREGULAR & MIXED VERBS : HIGH-FREQUENCY VERBS : VERBS TAKING SEIN IN THE PERFECT TENSE : 2,400 CONJUGATION QUESTIONS My students love these for quick conjugation recall practice, and they're the perfect activity for practice and revision. This is a bundle of sixteen 'quick conjugation' workbooks, which provide students with lots of opportunities to practice how to conjugation a range of high-frequency verbs in German with a focus on three tenses: present, perfect and imperfect. One of the workbooks focuses on verbs taking sein in the perfect tense. There are 150 conjugations in each workbook, with an individual focus on particular verbs groups. That's 2,400 quick conjugation questions in total. There is a complete answer key for each individual workbook too - my students really like to have the answer keys, as they find it enables them to work more independently, and they benefit from both self and peer assessment. I find answer keys really essential, as they provide students with additional opportunity to engage with language. I've been using the workbooks for a long time, and found they work best when I give my students regular and frequent chances to revisit the workbooks, including noting their thoughts on the Notes and Next Steps template. That really does help them to focus on their progress. We also use the template to guide and inform whole-group discussions about German conjugation in particular and German grammar in general. Even my advanced students get the chance to go 'back to the beginning' and work quickly through the conjugations, just to be sure that they have really grasped the concept. I use the workbooks as classwork, as homework, as 'free choice' resources, holiday refresher and revision work, and also as focused activities for sub lessons. They really do work well in a broad range of contexts. The verbs groups are: - regular verbs - irregular and mixed verbs - regular and irregular separable verbs - regular and irregular reflexive verbs - regular and irregular high-frequency verbs - verbs taking sein in the perfect tense The tenses are: - present tense (Präsens) - perfect tense (Perfekt) - imperfect tense (Präteritum) The structure of each quick conjugation workbook is: 10-page work book with two alphabetical verb reference lists: German-English and English-German Three differentiated conjugation challenges, each with 50 individual conjugations: Conjugation Challenge One: each verb conjugated in German across a range of pronouns, with students writing the corresponding English verb conjugation. Conjugation Challenge Two: gives the infinitive of each verb in German, specifying the target pronoun. Students write the corresponding verb conjugation in German. Conjugation challenge Three: students write the corresponding German verb conjugation, and its infinitive, from an English prompt. * 6-page answer key book which students find really useful, and I actually consider essential for this type of workbook - either to self- or peer-assess - it's also a great time saver for teachers, as well as a way of encouraging students to really assume more responsibility for, and independence in, their learning. * Notes and Next Steps page - we use this to map progress, and to note ideas for improvement. We also use it as to guide and inform whole-group discussion about learning and progress in general, which is a really popular and effective activity. It's also a great place to note any additional verbs that students learn, and this helps to build up a really strong verb vocab bank. With structured speaking prompts, students are able to develop confidence in their German speaking, working independently in pairs or small groups. At the same time, they are building their vocabulary and enhancing their understanding and knowledge of German grammar too. There are 50 questions with 50 suggested responses, so 100 cards in total. As students become more confident and competent, they begin to rely less on the prompt cards, and answer questions in their own way - and even ask them differently too, if their talk partner is using the answer card as the main prompt. There are several games and activities that my students enjoy, and I’ve described them for you to try with yours. GERMAN CHRISTMAS WORD SEARCHES

(0)
GERMAN CHRISTMAS WEIHNACHTEN WORD SEARCHES - 10 DIFFERENTIATED WORD SEARCHES WITH ANSWER KEYS, GRID TEMPLATES & GERMAN CHRISTMAS VOCABULARY LIST Word searches a fabulous way of encouraging learners to engage with the written word, practising and reinforcing language as they complete the grids. This set features* ten differentiated word searches*, focusing on a wide range of German Christmas vocabulary, with each consecutive grid increasing in challenge. The searches offer a really useful learning opportunity - enabling learners to engage with German Christmas vocab, which is a great springboard for discussion on Christmas traditions and practices in Germany and other German-speaking countries, comparing them to other traditions and practices students know, but also working on reading, writing, spelling and German language skills in general. Learners are able to identify which direction words are located in within the grid by referring to the arrow key. There are also five grid templates for learners to create their own searches for each other — this is a really popular activity, and I’ve found that my learners often like to create grids for family at home too. The templates enable learners to apply their language practically and creatively, which is really important at this stage of German language development. There is an answer grid for each word search, so that learners can check their answers - or use for a little extra help if they need it! For me, answer keys are essential, as they not only provide learners with an additional opportunity to engage with language, but they also help them develop more independence in their learning. They’re also a great teacher time-saver - a real bonus! There is a single word search per page, portrait format. I like to ensure that text is accessible to all learners—and at this stage of their learning, it’s absolutely essential that language looks accessible and manageable. Some of the more challenging grids do look a little cramped, as a good number of the German words are quite long. There are 50 German Christmas-themed words across the word searches - it’s not necessary for students to learn all the words explicitly - over time, they tend to become familiar with all of them anyway. Looking for unfamiliar words in the grids really works well for implicit learning. There’s a full alphabetical vocab list, which is a greatlong-term German Christmas vocab reference resource, which my students like to add to when they can. The resource is copyright, all rights reserved. It is non-editable in a zipped format. It may not be copied, rewritten, shared or distributed in any way outside your own classroom. They may not be copied, rewritten, amended, shared or distributed outside your own classroom in any way. The license for purchase is a single-user license only. Please read the Terms of Use. These activities really do help to create a lively language learning environment for young learners of French, and offer a popular alternative to more traditional, teacher-led***information about France*** lessons. Children can develop their knowledge of the francophone world - and through guided whole-group discussion - their home / host country too, in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, in part independently of the teacher. There is a bonus multi-focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing and spelling, and is a great way of aligning language learning with developing literacy skills in English. The resource comprises the following non-editable files: 20 facts cards - there are four facts in each of the following topic groups:geography, country, landmarks, language and food. There are blank templates for children to research and create their own facts cards for each other, and providing them with opportunity to apply learning and knowledge creatively. Over the school year, children should regularly add to their facts cards, which in time creates a fabulous bank of facts about France. Facts recording sheet challenge level 1 - there are two options: either two or four fact recording boxes per page. Children read their selected facts, and copy the information in the boxes. Facts recording sheet challenge level 2 - there are also two options: two or four fact recording boxes in this challenge level. However, there is a more open-ended task: responding to the question “What did you learn?”. This requires children to read their fact card, process the information, and then recreate it in their own words, describing the fact in the context of what they have learned. 24 question / comprehension cards — the questions have a differentiated range of challenge, and are based on the knowledge developed through the whole-group presentation and discussion, and the facts cards. There are some independent research questions, which I use as a springboard for further discussion based on children’s own developing interests about France. There are blank templates here too - creating questions is a great way to think about and apply knowledge and learning. question / comprehension cards recording sheet whole-group facts presentation & discussion MERCI BEACOUP, BON APPRENTISSAGE ET BON VOYAGE !

GCSE GERMAN KS3 GERMAN KS4 GERMAN PRESENT TENSE REGULAR VERBS CONJUGATION PRACTICE This workbook focuses on 25 high-frequency regular verbs in the present tense. I’ve used these ‘quick conjugations’ for many years with my German students. My students find them to be a great way of practising, reinforcing and revising how to conjugate essential verbs in German. I’ve used them in a range of contexts such as independent work either in class time or at home, holiday refresher work, or individual activities for cover lessons. I tend to give my students regular opportunities to practise the conjugations during the whole schools year, and they find this really useful for mapping their own progress and developing their overall understanding of how German conjugation ‘works’. PRIMARY FRENCH BREAKFAST WORD WALL MUR DE MOTS French Word Wall Le Petit Déjeuner - 18 scrumptious breakfast items! Word walls are great not only for creating an instant introduction to beginner vocabulary in the written form, but also for giving the learning environment a fabulous French look and feel. There are 18 items of breakfast vocab, which I don’t necessarily always have in my learning plan, but I use them for developing language skills and awareness in general. I’ve used both the indefinite and partitive article, which helps us put together sentences, such as J’aime manger des croissants, or Normalement, je prends une tasse de café. We look at cognates and near cognates, and discuss breakfast, and what we like to eat, or we’d like to try. The items are: = bacon = yoghurt = cup of coffee = cereal = jam = pancakes = croissants = waffles = porridge = orange juice = milk = boiled eggs = fried eggs = pain au chocolat = toast = bread rolls = syrup = tea There are two cards per 8.5 x 11 (A4) page in landscape format - the words are definitely big enough for children to be able to read - we really get the most from word walls and other displays - we do lots of guessing and spelling games, and vocab quizzes for example. There are two backgrounds to choose from - French flag or black wave. I definitely recommend that you print on card stock and/or laminate for longevity - you’ll be able to enjoy your Primary French Breakfast Word Wall Mur de Mots for years to come! Have a look at this Primary French Numbers 0-21 word wall which you can download for free - you can check whether its design will suit your classroom - the breakfast word wall is exactly the same design. FRENCH CITIES WORD SEARCHES

FRENCH CITIES 5 DIFFERENTIATED WORD SEARCHES WITH ANSWER KEY AND GRID TEMPLATES I use these word searches as a way of introducing the geography and cities of France to my students, as well as to give them opportunity to practice their beginning French skills - they’re differentiated, and multi-skill. The grid template allows them to apply their French very practically, as they create grids for each other - I always encourage my students to explore France a little more, and find other cities and towns too. When I create word searches, I always create corresponding answer keys - for me, they’re an integral part of the learning activity, helping students develop independence in their learning, and offering further opportunity to engage with language. There’s a reference sheet of all cities included in the searches, which you can share between small groups of students, or give one to each student to stick into their learning workbooks as an all-year-round reference. Use as starters, refreshers, plenaries, sub/cover lessons, pick-me-ups or fun-time fillers at any time during the school year, as well as when you’re discussing the geography of France. KS3 KS4 GCSE FRENCH VERBS PERFECT TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE FOCUS ON 25 HIGH-FREQUENCY REGULAR & IRREGULAR FRENCH VERBS My students really like this kind of grammar activity, as they like to work and learn independently, which is a successful way of varying teaching and learning methodologies - I’ve found it’s really important to avoid predominantly teacher-led learning in the languages classroom. There are 150 conjugations across 3 differentiated conjugation challenges, with full answer key. I use these kinds of workbooks in lots of different ways: for practice during the introduction phase, for independent choice in class time, for homework, for practice and revision during holidays and at return to class, and for cover lessons - they’re really versatile, and ideal for advanced KS3 French and KS4 French students who are beginning to work with more complex language and texts. The workbooks focus on the mechanics of conjugation, rather than usage, and I’ve found that when my students are able to provide the correct conjugation very quickly, and out of a specific context, they feel really confident that their conjugation skills are developing well. Spanish-speaking countries, capital cities and flags label and colour worksheets provide great learning opportunities for any appropriate age group, at any time of the school year, and are definitely the perfect activity for consolidating knowledge of these countries and flags - students definitely really enjoy testing their memory and recreating the flags in colour. Students can develop their Spanish language skills, as well as their knowledge of both the Spanish-speaking and wider world, in a cooperative, communicative and interactive way, independently of the teacher. There are 21 countries where Spanish is an official language, and I’ve also included three countries where Spanish is very widely spoken: Gibraltar, Andorra and the USA. There may be a number of countries and capital cities that students do not know, or are not aware of, so the games help them fully develop their general awareness, knowledge and understanding of Los países hispanohablantes. There is a country, capital city and flag reference list of all countries and capitals, which students find useful to read through before working on the sheets - I laminate these, because they last for years - one list per small group of 5-6 students is sufficient. It can also be used as a year-round reference resource, which students can file in their workbooks or learning folders. There are four sets of worksheets, each with two pages: Set 1: color flags, students label with country and capital city Set 2: blank flags, students label country and capital city, and color the flags Set 3: blank flags, country is given, students label capital city, and color the flags Set 4: blank flags, capital city is given, students label country, and color the flags Have a browse in my store for more Spanish-speaking countries activities, and a wide range of other Spanish teaching and learning materials, with dollar deals, special offer bundles and lots of freebies. ¡MUCHAS GRACIAS Y BUEN APRENDIZAJE!

GERMAN REGULAR VERBS FUTURE TENSE

(0)
GCSE GERMAN KSS3 GERMAN KS4 GERMAN FUTURE TENSE CONJUGATION PRACTICE 25 high-frequency regular German verbs, 150 conjugation questions, 3 differentiated challenges, answer keys ideal for advanced KS3 German students who are beginning to work with compound sentences and longer texts, and generally developing their knowledge and understanding of conjugation and tense in German. My students really like this kind of grammar activity, as they like to work and learn independently, which is a successful way of varying teaching and learning methodologies - I’ve found it’s really important to avoid predominantly teacher-led learning in the languages classroom. I tend to introduce the future tense along with the conditional tense, as I’ve found this can help students consolidate the pattern of conjugation very quickly, and it also helps them understand the distinction between will and would, particularly the fine distinction between the notion of intent in both German and English. Though the workbook focuses solely on the correct conjugation of verbs, and does not look at word order in the context of full sentences, there are fixed conjugation patterns that students can learn, recognise and apply, ensuring that their spoken and written German is accurate, and that their understanding of German across the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing is robust. Notes and Next Steps sheet, which encourages students to think about how their understanding of German conjugation works, what progress they have made, what their targets for improvement might realistically be, and what they might reasonably do in order to meet those targets. answer key Have a browse in my store for more German grammar activities, and a wide range of other German teaching and learning resources, with special offer bundles, resource boxes, and lots of freebies too!
