French GCSE worksheets to focus on the present tense with the holiday topic. They can also work well for good/strong KS3 students as the first page is usually self-explanatory. They are composed of two parts for differentiation. The first page focuses only on regular and common verbs from core French GCSE vocabulary lists. These French GCSE worksheets are great for independent learning, home learning, homework or even cover work. Answers are provided to make your life easier. Here are all topics you can find in my shop: School, sport, hobbies, the world of work, media, home and house, food, family relationships, chores, routine, holidays, environment, festivals and traditions. KS3 - French - reading and writing activities (Allez 1 textbook)

(0)
More than 40 reading tasks with answers, 8 writing tasks with model answers. Resources suitable for KS3 classes. (I use them for my Y7 and Y8 classes). There is a clear progression between reading activities as I have made sure to recycle on a regular basis main grammar concepts seen in previous lessons. Each reading task is composed of : a match up activity / vocabulary search / grammar activity (focusing on 1, 2 or 3 grammar concepts) / exam style questions / a translation into FR or EN (plenary) to check pupils’ understanding of the grammar concepts introduced in the activities). Answers are always provided For each unit, there is a “revision” worksheet to go back to grammar concepts seen in the unit (True/false activities). There is also a more challenging reading tasks available to them with exam style questions. For each unit, there’s a also a “writing” worksheet. Pupils’ understanding of grammar concepts seen in the unit is tested through translation activities. I recommend marking them in class before allowing pupils to start their writing. There is a model answer provided for each writing task. I usually use it for my weaker students. There’s also a small bank of vocabulary available to stretch most able students (usually with some GCSE A*/Grade 8-9 structures). Should you have any questions or should you spot anything wrong, do not hesitate to contact me on my Facebook Page (Parlezvousfrançais, link available in my profile) I hope this helps. Analysez la phrase d’Hubert « La Haine attire la Haine ». French A level essay question and A* model answer on La Haine (Mathieu Kassovitz). You will have access to complex structures that A level students could use in their essays, guidance regarding how to write a good essay on the film, the plan I used to write my model answer and finally my model answer. I highlighted my Points, Evidence and Explanations in different colours to help your students analyse the model answer and to show them structures they could have used alternatively (from the complex structures table). I give the “constuire une dissertation sur La Haine” structures to my weakest students (or to the class when working on their first essay) to help them focus on their ideas more than complex structures. The markscheme is the one from Edexcel. Do not hesitate to follow me on Facebook. More model answers for La Haine are available in my shop.
